Machining 105kg Down to 15kg

This project was a testament to precision large-part machining. Starting with a hefty 105 kg slab, Rototip was tasked with reducing its weight significantly for a critical application. Our team expertly machined the component down to a final weight of just 15 kg. Critically, throughout this extensive material removal process, we maintained exceptional flatness tolerances, showcasing our expertise in handling large-scale, high-precision machining challenges where both weight reduction and geometric accuracy are paramount.
